Larry Meyer – Managing Partner

Mr. Meyer has over 30 years experience in development, acquisition, and management of both REO and CRE loans. He has served on numerous corporate boards and has a long history of philanthropic work. Mr. Meyer is currently the Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Austin, Texas.

Jimmy Nassour – Managing Partner

Mr. Nassour, a licensed attorney in the State of Texas, has over 25 years of experience in multiple areas of the real estate industry. In addition to significant experience investing in real estate secured assets, Mr. Nassour is considered an expert in matters of real estate law (including finance, acquisitions, closings, property title, and taxation).

Pat Laffey – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Laffey, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), has over 30 years of direct taxation and accounting experience in the real estate industry. He holds a degree from Duke University and a Master’s of Science degree in taxation from the University of Baltimore.

As Chief Financial Officer for JLM Financial Investments, Mr. Laffey directs the firm’s financial goals, objectives, and budgets. Mr. Laffey’s responsibilities also extend to managing financial risks, supervising cash management activities, participating in capital raising activities, and providing support on potential acquisitions.

Jeff Ezell – Managing Director

Mr. Ezell has over 10 years of experience working in various facets of business. Prior to joining JLM Financial Investments, Mr. Ezell obtained a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in finance and specialization in real estate. Mr. Ezell also has a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University.

As Managing Director for JLM Financial Investments, Mr. Ezell is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, participating in capital raising activities, development of financial models and business development.

Chris Votaw – Investment Analyst

Mr. Votaw has 10 years of business experience in sales, marketing and analytics. In his role at JLM he is responsible for financial analysis, market research and marketing. Mr. Votaw attended Baylor University and Concordia University.

Steve Portnoy – One83 Office Park Asset Manager

Steve Portnoy has been a licensed real estate broker in Texas for over 25 years. He has been principal of his own development company, closed over $50 million dollars in commercial property sales and provided planning, zoning, permitting, public representation and project management consulting services to third parties on numerous complex, successful commercial development projects.

Caleb Jackson - Investment Analyst

Mr. Jackson is responsible for developing and modifying financial models, underwriting, due diligence, market research and asset management. Prior to joining JLM Financial Investments, Mr. Jackson was a financial analyst at ORIX USA, where he was responsible for loan compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University, with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship.
